News and latest contributions from SPADA TP
Spada Public Works has applied to contribute to the CARTOSILICE measurement campaign of theOPPBTPThis application takes on its full meaning with the development of our crushing activity: Carry out measurements of crystalline silica dust in the air for our operator, and thus improve knowledge and prevention of the risks associated with this activity.
🔎 Why a measurement campaign?
According to theINRS France, the health effects of crystalline silica can be particularly serious and disabling. Crystalline silica is found in the form of dust in the air in many activities: extraction of industrial aggregates and minerals, stone cutting, manufacture of dental prostheses, foundry, glassworks, crystalworks, jewelry, ceramic and porcelain industries, brick and tile industries, building and public works, repair and demolition of industrial furnaces, etc.
💡 Our proposal for participation
Our inert material recycling site is equipped with a mobile crusher; this is a small machine without a cabin. Our operator, from his shovel, in a closed cabin, feeds the crusher hopper. He may have to leave the machine in the event of a blockage. We crush the products extracted from our deconstruction and earthworks (mainly concrete, rocks, asphalt).
â–¶ How did the test go?
Our operator was equipped at the start of the working day with 2 sensors: one sensor in continuous operation, another to be activated only when leaving the excavator cabin. The measurement was extended over a period sufficiently representative of our activity.
The measurements thus collected are now being analyzed by an independent specialist service provider.
⌛ Concerning our operations, the concrete content seems low to be representative. Result in the next few days

A project where we are experimenting with another way of treating our waste.
After a first sorting attempt on a previous program,
Spada Public Works tests the implementation of several sorting flows: cardboard, building wood, furniture, scrap metal, glass joinery, flows of which part is eligible for the REP Extended Producer Responsibility.
The bins allow for more efficient sorting on site and avoid mixing waste with a lower recovery price per tonne.
The counterpart is the additional time of the teams to guarantee this sorting.
To be continued!

[EXPERIMENTATION 🧪 ] A return to
Spada Public Works with classic earthworks, public works and demolition, but also under the sign of experiments.
In September,
Spada Public Works participates in the Cartosilice CampaignOPPBTP following our application as volunteers.
We will also be experimenting with a new sorting sequence on one of our demolition sites, with the implementation of several complex flows in conjunction with the waste operator.

Thanks to Christophe DAL SASSO for this partnership!
[ENEDIS] Working near an electrical network cannot be improvised. Beyond the required qualifications and authorizations,
Spada Public Works had the opportunity to intervene
Jean-Philippe of Caesar And
Matthew Faretie ofEnedis with our team leaders and site managers.
Spada Public Works is proud to have had no damage to the electricity network for several years, despite frequent work in dense, urban areas.
After a few reminders on damage rates or understanding the RTE/ENEDIS perimeters, the discussions focused on sharing experiences.
Who to call if you have a question about a DICT, or if you suspect a collision? How can we easily get the operator to locate our position?
An intervention placed under the sign of sharing experience, thank you Nicolas Pierson for this connection!

[COME ON YOUNG PEOPLE] Spada Travaux Publics is proud to be able to support local associations.
When the leaders of the kids at the Stade Olympique Londais came to see us and talk to us about their project to offer a football camp to children in the Pyrenees, we were touched by their involvement and their desire to help these children share collective values.
So on our scale, we wanted to contribute to their project.
Thanks to SOL hashtag #lalondelesmaures and looking forward to seeing them enjoy this course!

[WE SORT] Building waste can be recycled!
The REP PMCB, for Extended Producer Responsibility for Building Construction Products and Materials, is a waste management system which provides that those placing building products on the market take financial responsibility for their treatment and recovery.
Spada Public Works was thus able to revalue the waste from the demolition of a building, including reinforced concrete, on the site
MAT'ILD MATERIALS Innovation Waste Logistics at La Garde.

Spada Public Works is participating in this operation to renovate the Carrubier road in La Londe les Maures.
On the program:
- Resumption of network crossings to secure rainwater flows
-Preparation of shoulders for road resurfacing by

Thanks to the city of
#lalondelesmaures And
SVCR for their trust.
And for those who are wondering what carrubier is; it is simply the little Provençal name for the Caroubier.

The purpose of draining paving is to prevent water from running off and thus infiltrating it on site. To equip the paths of the ILOA PARK program of the Piersanti Group, Spada TP chose CAZEO paving stones from ALKERN.
On the technical side, CAZEO is a paving stone compatible with 15x15x6 cm plate systems, hence its ease of installation. Available in several colours, the surfaces can be monochrome or play with colours; for example to create parking-type boundaries.
🗼 Among its other qualities, it is also a "Made in France" product.
🌧 But it was above all its vocation to be able to let water penetrate into the ground where it falls that seduced us!
Draining, a beautiful finish, easy to install while remaining drivable: A big thank you to Mathilde AUBIN for Frans Bonhomme who knows how to advise us to find the products adapted to the challenges of tomorrow.

An essential step for the protection and management of beaches
These barriers are called gables; they often play the role of protecting sensitive areas, in particular by managing the flow of visitors.
These slats are often chosen because they are made of non-polluting materials, they are resistant to the ravages of time and marine conditions, and they have a rather appreciated "seaside" aesthetic side and have the advantage of requiring little maintenance.
After preparing the ground by cleaning it and marking the locations, the posts are planted in the ground and then adjusted to ensure stability and alignment.
Then, all that's left to do is admire the work...and the view.

To build in an urban environment, it is often necessary to deconstruct and demolish, which generates waste.
The recovery of construction waste is one of the most important current challenges for the construction sector. Waste recycling is therefore at the heart of a circular economy strategy to transform waste into new resources and materials that are more economical and more sustainable.
And under these conditions, sorting and recycling on our construction sites is an important issue which is part of the development trajectory of Spada Travaux Publics.
In Bormes les Mimosas, in this demolition site entrusted by the PIERSANTI Group, Spada TP has found solutions for treating inert waste. In particular, we called on MAT'ILD, which offers storage, transport and recovery solutions.
For rubble from demolition materials, bricks, concrete blocks and concrete, Spada TP ensures recycling with its crushing unit. The recycling of inert construction site waste advocates a more sustainable approach in the construction sector, thus making it possible to recycle and reuse these materials.
A problem that sets us in motion!

Spada Public Workshas a fleet of dump trucks, tractors and tank transporters, not to mention construction machinery.
These trucks are used to deliver equipment or remove rubble from our construction sites, on all types of terrain. There is sand, salt, shale, mud, etc. Apart from the feats of driving them, maintaining and maintaining the fleet is therefore an art in itself so that it remains operational and efficient for as long as possible.

Sometimes some projects are more significant than others.
The renovation of the sewage system on the seafront boulevard in La Londe Les Maures is part of this.
Launched at the very beginning of the year, these major and complicated works aimed to renew 180 linear meters of wastewater collector. They were part of the program to combat the intrusion of parasitic water into the sanitation networks.
Technical complexity due to the nature of the soil, proximity to traders requiring constant attention to avoid creating inconvenience.
The SPADA TP teams are proud to be able to support the town of La Londe Les Maures in its renovation work and a big congratulations to our employees for the success of this project!
SPADA TP intervened at the end of 2023 to carry out the earthworks for the construction of 8 villas in the Fossette district of Le Lavandou.
But before bringing in the machines, a herpetologist from the Reynier environment team came to help our teams secure the species living on the site.

SPADA TP equipped itself with new equipment at the start of 2024: a BRH, or hydraulic rock breaker.
This device is installed at the end of the articulated excavator arm. It will equip our Liebherr R924 excavator.
A valuable aid when it comes to terracing certain terrains with tough rocks!
